    Dambulla Cave Temple

    This is the largest and best preserved complex of Buddhist cave temples in Sri Lanka. The History of Dambulla Rock Cave Temple dates back to 1st century BC during the region of King Valagambha. There are five Caves which contain almost 150 images of the Buddha.

    This is a Buddhist temple in the city of Kandy.Temple of tooth relic is located in the royal places complex of the former Kingdom of Kandy, Which houses the relic of the tooth of Buddha. Since ancient times, the relic has played an important role in local politics because it is believed that who ever holds the relic hold the governance of the country. Kandy was the last capital of Sri Lankan Kings.
